In the spring of 2022, Kelly Hepburn and Marko Meijia jointly created and released two new series: House of Hoppen and Gallery.
Kelly prefers to consider style, texture and tone first when choosing furniture. Start by looking at the shape, lines and proportions of a piece of furniture, as well as its materials, colors and finishes, and mentally assess whether these elements fit into the overall tone and texture scheme. Also remember to neutralize straight lines with curves – it’s a yin-yang philosophy in design.
FURNITURE DESIGN
For a home, the sense of space is very important. The color, material, and all the details should make us feel comfortable, just like an exquisite sweater or suit tailored for ourselves.
